This period is the glorious period of sports in CC. Winner in Soccer, basketball, volley, and tennis table were often achieved by CC team. In this period CC CUP transformed into Central Cup 2000( cooperate with St Ursula and St Theresia),then transformed again into Cardinal Cup 2001 (teamwork of 7 schools), and returned again into CC CUP 2002. Student`s art activity showed significant improvement in this period. In teaterical, CC had performed English musical teater “The Sound of Music”(2001).

Academic year 1997/1998 became the last P4 program. This program was replaced by MOS(Freshment Orientary Day). But “Percasis” still continues as an acquaintanceship facility of the freshmen, in Junior High and in Senior High. In 1997, Junior High principal changed, Father Arko was placed by Mr.A.J.Djuwarta who had worked in Canisius College for a long time.

Canisius College continuously fixed itself up in order to be excellent as an educational service centre. To support teaching process and modern education, sufficient infrastructure was developed.

1967: For the first time, CC was led by an alumnus of CC, Father Prayitno SJ. It is in this year too did CC celebrate its 40th birthday, limited to alumni only. Also in this 1967, the dorm was made into classrooms. In the area of education, the curriculum was changed where the program was made into 3 again, Culture-Literature, Social Economics and Science. At the sametime, a joint exam was held with schools such as St Ursula,Pangudi Luhur, Budi Mulia etc. This period was signed by a lot of renewal. Chief of Junior High was handed over to Father Sewaka SJ from Father Jeuken SJ, so that he occupied in Senior High only. In 1974, there was development of parish house. In order to celebrate 50 year Canisius, a motor rally in which Porsija helped was held on 17 July 1997. Besides, there was a bazaar was to help schools in Central Java.
